State Line AA Expands Parking Facilities, Adds New Inspection Building

State Line Auto Auction revealed facility expansions that will greatly expand parking capacity for the Waverly, N.Y., auction are complete.
On the site of a former trailer park which sat next to the auction, State Line finished its 22 acre parking lot project this past July.
Company officials noted the project began before construction started last summer, stressing it “took a number of years and the acquisition of a neighboring farm to make a contiguous parcel.”
The new parking area was "based in" last summer and allowed to "settle" over the winter. Paving took place this summer, and State Line says it “is now ready for even more expansion.”
Jeff Barber, State Line’s owner, remarked on the auctions expanded parking capabilities: "We have always had sufficient room to store thousands of cars, but this new 22-acre parcel allows us to keep all vehicles even closer to the repair and reconditioning shops. Our efficiencies are greater, and the movement of cars is greatly reduced".
On top of the new parking lot, Stateline also erected a three-lane inspection building in July in an effort to provide inspection writers with more room to perform their tasks "under cover" from the natural elements.
"Keeping our inspectors out of the rain, snow and heat is an added bonus, with our new inspection building being located centrally to the vehicle storage area," Barber said.
"Our total parking area is now in excess of 74 acres, which gives us the opportunity to welcome many more customers,” he concluded.
