Auto Master Systems, a software provider for buy-here, pay-here dealers, recently formed a systems integration partnership with iMETRIK Global for its vehicle loan tracking platform.

Officials highlighted the partnership will provide Auto Master clients with a single interface to gather GPS asset tracking data. They contend this functionality will enable customers such as subprime lenders and BHPH dealers to improve loan collection activity and reduce the risk of driver delinquency. 

Auto Master currently has thousands of dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada using its software for loan collection, accounts receivable and loan closing purposes. The companies believe the integration of the iMETRIK application will mean greater operational efficiencies for those dealers engaging in collection activity.

The iMETRIK Web application can allow users to interact with their vehicles by sending payment reminders to the borrower, checking the location and speed of the vehicle with the ability to disable the vehicle if necessary using the starter interrupt feature.

Automatic alerts can also be set up to allow dealers to simply manage and control any vehicle.

The company pointed out iMETRIK designs and manufactures its own GPS devices, and individually hand test each one to ensure they conform to industry standards. The company also operates its own wireless cellular system, which means that iMETRIK devices can effectively operate in more than 120 countries,

Furthermore, there are no annual reactivation fees to be paid for the entire life of the device.
