DealerOn’s dual launch includes AI search visibility platform, ‘intelligent layer’ touching full dealership

While the space agency recently launched the first astronauts to visit the moon in more than 50 years, the provider of auto dealership websites and digital sales and marketing technology boasted two launches on the same day.
Tuesday, DealerOn introduced OnPrompt, an artificial intelligence search visibility platform built for dealerships, and Sidekick, an AI-powered suite of tools designed to elevate dealership website management and performance.
OnPrompt addresses search, one of the most important ways shoppers discover and evaluate dealerships. In a news release DealerOn said the entry of AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity into that process requires new tools to help dealers understand how their business is represented in AI-generated answers in addition to traditional search performance.
OnPrompt is designed to help dealers monitor AI visibility, evaluate brand sentiment, identify content gaps and uncover opportunities to improve how their business shows up in AI searches as consumers increasingly ask AI platforms direct questions about vehicles, service, pricing, reputation and local dealership options.
The tool gives dealerships a clearer view into this emerging layer of search, the company said, by helping dealers evaluate how AI systems might respond to relevant dealership, inventory, service and market prompts and turning those findings into recommendations for improving visibility, accuracy and representation.

“Search isn’t disappearing — it’s evolving,” DealerOn CEO and co-founder Ali Amirrezvani said. “As shoppers turn to AI-generated answers to decide where to buy and service vehicles, dealers need visibility into how their business is being represented. The system offers tracking to monitor how AI platforms respond to relevant prompts about the dealership, inventory, services and the local market; visibility analysis of where and how the dealership appears in AI search, including whether it’s mentioned, omitted or positioned against competitors; and brand sentiment analysis to show how AI tools describe and characterize the dealership, including tone, accuracy, strengths and potential reputation concerns.
In addition, it’s designed to identify missing, weak or unclear website content that ca limit how well AI systems understand the dealership’s services, inventory and differentiators, and to compare a dealership’s AI visibility and positioning against local and regional competitors, as well as finding traffic patterns from AI platforms and how those visitors engage with your website.
DealerOn has also introduced OnPrompt GEO Services, a managed service designed to complement DealerOn’s SEO services with AI content, technical and optimization strategies to strengthen the signals AI use to understand, summarize and recommend their business.
Sidekick is an “intelligent layer” that works throughout a dealership’s digital presence to help attract, engage and convert online shoppers while streamlining day-to-day marketing operations, DealerOn said.

The Sidekick suite is designed to bring AI-driven intelligence to the key parts of a dealership’s digital operation, including vehicle merchandising, customer engagement compliance, and performance insights, through its various components.
- Quick Connect Chat Sidekick allows shoppers to ask questions in natural language and receive instant answers about inventory, appointments, trade-in values, service recalls and dealership information DealerOn said, as well as providing personalized prompts based on real-time shopper behavior in three seconds or less to improve response times and increase lead conversion.
- Insights Sidekick is designed to turn website data into clear recommendations based on their goals, store size and local market trends within DealerOn’s Data Hub reporting suite.
- Merchandising Sidekick works with the dealership’s existing photo process, the company said, using AI to automatically score and enhance the images they already take — improving lighting, framing, clarity and applying backgrounds.
- Compliance Sidekick lets dealers track OEM brand guideline violations on custom and platform pages, identifying issues at the page level, and making fixes before they become bigger problems.
DealerOn said additional tools and capabilities for the Sidekick Suite are planned for release throughout this year.
OnPrompt, OnPrompt GEO Services and Sidekick are all currently available through beta programs.
