NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. -

Cox Automotive's Dealertrack announced Wednesday that it has promoted Kaitlin Gavin to serve as new Dealertrack registration and title solutions vice president and general manager.

Gavin most recently joined Dealertrack's registration and title solutions business just last year to serve as the senior director of business operations, according to the company.

In her new role, along with leading the execution of annual strategic planning for Dealertrack registration and title solutions, Gavin has been tasked with ensuring the business’s financial and operational targets are met, the company said.

It is critical to invest in the right people,” said Cox Automotive retail solutions group president Keith Jezek said in a news release. “Kait, a distinguished leader with acumen, industry intel and vision, is the right person to guide the Dealertrack Registration and Title Solutions business into the future of automotive retail, in which consumers demand a faster and easier car buying experience.”

Prior to her positions with Dealertrack, she served in a variety of roles at CarMax Auto Finance for over seven years, including account servicing director, vendor compliance manager, customer service manager and business support manager.
