DAYTON, Ohio -

Reynolds and Reynolds revealed an acquisition for the second time this week on Thursday. This time, the company announced its documents services division acquired Virginia-based Orlando Business Systems, which provides business forms to dealerships.

Terms of the acquisition were not released.

“Orlando Business Systems has built a solid presence in serving automobile dealerships with business forms in the Virginia area,” said Jerry Kirwan, senior vice president and general manager of Reynolds Documents Services.

“Combining their business with the strength of Reynolds Documents Services provides their customers with ready access to the full breadth of products and services from Reynolds, in addition to the forms they have come to rely on from Orlando,” Kirwan continued.

Kirwan highlighted that Reynolds Documents Services offers one of the broadest product portfolios in the industry, along with acknowledged expertise in business forms compliance for dealerships.

Additionally, Reynolds supports its documents services customers with an experienced documents sales force and a world-class manufacturing and printing facility.

Kirwan noted that Orlando Business Systems, which was founded in 2000, has built its business with an eye on customer service and product quality — both attributes that match well with the focus at Reynolds.

“It’s great to welcome Orlando and their customers to Reynolds,” Kirwan said. “We’re looking forward to supporting our new customers and helping them strengthen their business with our products and services.”

Kirwan also indicated he sees other potential opportunities in the market to grow the documents business at Reynolds.
On Tuesday, Reynolds announced that it purchased digital marketing company IMN, a firm that provides that provides branded newsletters and content for the auto industry and other vertical markets.
