LEXINGTON, S.C. -

DDI Technology has garnered the endorsement of the South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association (SCADA) for both its electronic vehicle registration (EVR) solution and new temporary tag program set to launch next year.

The software and service solutions company announced Tuesday that it is now the approved EVR and temporary tag and vendor for SCADA.

“The decision to partner with DDI was made after an extensive and thoughtful interviewing and vetting process conducted by myself and the dealer services committee,” SCADA executive vice president Sims Floyd said in a news release. “We believe DDI will provide dealers with the fastest, most secure and certified temporary tag and electronic vehicle registration program. DDI’s service, personnel, tech support and cost to dealers was the best of 6 vendors reviewed,” Floyd said.

According to DDI Technology president Glenn Thames, SCADA’s endorsement of its EVR and temporary tag solution follows the certification of the company’s Electronic Lien and Title (ELT) program in all ELT states just a few years ago.

“DDI is so excited to have SCADA’s endorsement for vehicle registration and temporary tags. This is a major accomplishment for DDI and is confirmation that our innovative electronic titling technologies, combined with dedication to unsurpassed customer service, is what the automotive industry is demanding,” said Thames.

“DDI entered the ELT market in 2006 with the goal of being certified in all ELT states and successfully met that goal in a few short years.DDI has the same goal with electronic vehicle registration, and the SCADA endorsement is a major achievement in propelling us toward this goal.”
