IgniteUps.ai wants to give dealerships a tool to ask questions and use artificial intelligence the way their customers do, especially with the ongoing proliferation of AI agents

“Every dealership manager has asked, ‘What can we do to sell a car today?’ NEXUS is built to help answer that question and then help execute,” IgniteUps.ai founder and CEO Chris Martinez said in a news release.

On Monday, the company introduced NEXUS, which is designed to be an automotive AI performance manager built to orchestrate a dealership’s connected AI workforce and execute real work across its systems.

With its own computer environment and dealership system connectors, IgniteUps.ai explained that NEXUS can help managers identify opportunities, assign tasks to AI agents, execute communications, create videos and images, and turn CRM and DMS data into action.

Martinez highlighted that NEXUS brings the computer-using AI agent approach gaining attention through products such as OpenClaw, formerly Clawdbot, Grok Bot, Meta’s Muse, and OpenAI’s Dots into an automotive-specific setting.

Martinez added that its focus is dealership operations: Directing connected AI agents, working across authorized systems, and helping teams move from a decision to completed work.

“Find the opportunities, assign the work to the right AI agents, communicate with customers and employees, and report back. It’s the closest thing to Jarvis that automotive has,” Martinez said.

NEXUS serves as a central performance manager for the dealership’s connected AI workforce. It can break a manager’s objective into tasks, assign those tasks to individual AI agents, and coordinate their work across sales, service, customer follow-up, and internal communications.

Martinez offered another example of how managers can give NEXUS an objective in plain language.

Imagine as a store manager telling the tool:

“Build a weekend sales push. Have our lead engagement agent follow up with unanswered prospects, our data mining agent identify customers with trade opportunities, and our service retention agent reconnect with overdue service customers. Create the messages and videos, notify the department managers, and prepare a report on the activity.”

NEXUS can then call on any connected and authorized AI agent to perform supported tasks within that agent’s role and capabilities.

NEXUS then can coordinate that work across connected agents, create supporting content, and direct authorized communications to customers and dealership employees.

“Dealers are building an AI workforce, and that workforce needs direction,” Martinez said. “NEXUS is the performance manager. You give it the objective, and it can assign tasks, coordinate the work, and report back to your team.”

NEXUS uses supported connectors to work with dealership systems and data, including customer relationship management platforms and dealership management systems.

Its dedicated computer environment extends its capabilities to authorized browser-based workflows beyond those direct connections.

That allows NEXUS to retrieve information, analyze records, prepare reports, and perform supported actions across connected CRMs, DMS platforms, and other systems the dealership gives it access to. Available tasks depend on each system’s capabilities, access permissions, and configuration.

“Orchestration is a core part of the technology,” said Joe Simmons, co-founder and chief technology officer of IgniteUps.ai. “NEXUS connects a manager’s request to the data, systems, and AI agents needed to carry it out.

“A task might require information from the CRM, context from DMS data, work inside another application, and an AI agent to handle the communication. NEXUS brings those steps together around the dealership’s workflow,” Simmons went on to say through the news release.

Through natural-language requests, dealership teams can ask NEXUS to:

—Orchestrate the AI workforce: Assign tasks to connected agents and coordinate execution across departments.

—Find missed opportunities: Identify unanswered messages, gaps in follow-up, paused AI engagement, and unsold prospects.

—Execute customer communications: Direct connected agents to carry out approved outreach through supported channels.

—Keep employees informed: Send authorized instructions, opportunity summaries, and activity updates to dealership staff.

—Create videos and images: Produce content for customer outreach, dealership campaigns, and employee communications.

—Prepare reporting: Analyze available sales, service, and customer data and generate management summaries.

—Work across dealership systems: Complete supported tasks in connected CRMs, DMS platforms, and other authorized applications.

—Execute beyond connectors: Use its dedicated computer environment for supported browser-based work.

NEXUS expands IgniteUps.ai’s automotive AI workforce by giving dealership leaders a way to manage its activity alongside the rest of their connected tools.

The goal is to reduce the manual work between discovering an opportunity and acting on it, while keeping dealership teams involved in the decisions and customer relationships that matter.

“Your CRM has one part of the story. Your DMS has another. Your AI agents are already having conversations,” Martinez said. “NEXUS helps bring that information and activity together. Managers can set the direction, put their connected AI workforce to work, and stay informed about what happens next.”
