ABC Baton Rouge Holds Grand Opening Sale

Auction officials are calling ABC Baton Rouge’s Grand Opening Sale a “major success.”
At the July 18 sale, there was a conversion rate of 88 percent for fleet and lease, with a dealer consignment sale conversion rate of 63 percent.
Jason Hockett, president at Auction Broadcasting Co. president, “The Grand Opening sale at ABC Baton Rouge was a huge success. We were really pleased with the dealer turn out as well as the turnout and support of our commercial accounts.”
As well as a good buyer turnout, the sale brought out representatives from ARI, Capital One Automotive, Lease Plan, PHH and Santander Consumer. Hockett also noted that, “a host of regional financial institutions were on hand for the sale.”
Even Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the 30-acre auction facility.
The auction will also be holding another special sale later this month.
Kevin Rembert, vice president and general manager said, “the Grand Opening sale has gotten us off to a really good start in Baton Rouge. We are having a Cajun Summer Sale event on August 22 with a special start of 9:30 a.m. I am anticipating over 650 vehicles which will consist of over 200 fleet and bank repossession vehicles.”
ABC Baton Rouge host dealer sales every Thursday at 10:00 a.m., featuring consignment sales as well as fleet and commercial vehicles.
