ACERTUS has a new chief information officer.

The automotive logistics-as-a-service said Thursday that it has hired Margaret Cartwright for the role. Cartwright was most recently senior vice president of data intelligence at US Foods.

She previously was the CIO at AgAmerica.

In her new role as CIO at ACERTUS, Cartwright will head up the company’s technology strategy, including customer technologies, platform engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, artificial intelligence and digital initiatives.

“The future of vehicle logistics is being built on connectivity, automation and intelligent data, and the organizations that win will be the ones who lead that transformation,” ACERTUS CEO Michael DeLuca said.

“Margaret Cartwright is a leader who will accelerate that journey for ACERTUS. She brings a rare combination of technical depth and transformational leadership — a track record of building world-class technology organizations and delivering real, measurable results,” DeLuca said.

“Margaret’s arrival will sharpen our innovation roadmap, elevate our digital capabilities, and strengthen our position as the industry’s most technology-forward logistics partner. On top of her technology skills, Margaret is an exceptional leader who will be a wonderful addition to our executive team.”

Cartwright added, “I am excited to join ACERTUS and contribute to a company that is redefining what’s possible in automotive logistics. Our goal is to build a smarter, more connected logistics ecosystem for our customers, carriers, drivers and partners. ACERTUS has already built a strong foundation rooted in a clear commitment to innovation. I look forward to partnering with the team to advance our technology strategy and deliver exceptional customer experiences.”
