America’s Auto Auction has made its seventh acquisition of the year, announcing that it has purchased Dealers Auto Auction of the Rockies.

It represents America’s first location in Colorado and follows the group’s acquisition of the auction’s sister location, Dealers Auto Auction of Phoenix, earlier this year.

“This acquisition represents a meaningful step forward in our mission to build the most dealer-focused auction network in the country,” America’s Auto Auction CEO Chuck Tapp said in a news release.

“Dealers Auto Auction of the Rockies has long been recognized for its commitment to service and strong relationships,” Tapp added.

The auction will be renamed America’s Auto Auction Denver and continue to host its weekly six-lane sale on Thursday mornings. More than 49,000 vehicles were consigned at the auction last year.

“We are proud to expand our footprint into Colorado with such a respected partner,” Tapp said. “By bringing this team into our organization, we’re able to combine their local expertise with the scale and capabilities of our national network to deliver even greater value to our customers.”
