MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. -

ARI has expanded its presence in Europe with Monday morning’s announcement that it has purchased HPI Fleet and its European business entities.

It is projected the deal will close this month. Once that happens, HPI Fleet will operate as ARI.

ARI recently expanded into the U.K. and Germany, and with this deal, it has broadened its reach, as its European operations will now serve customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, as well.

“The acquisition of HPI Fleet, in tandem with our businesses in the U.K. and Germany, reflects our genuine commitment to serve the needs of our customers who are growing globally, as well as to deliver fleet solutions tailored to meet in-country needs,” said ARI president Carl Ortell.

“ARI’s significant global investment over the past several years reflects the confidence we have in a universal need for our unique brand of ‘world-class’ fleet management,” notes Chris Conroy, managing director of global operations.

“We intend to leverage our expanded geographic footprint to provide services to both our existing multi-national customers and to those with regional requirements in Europe. As with all of ARI’s businesses, this will be supported by continued investment in people, processes, and technology.”

The company's continental European operations will be managed from ARI's  Stuttgart and Frankfurt, Germany offices. ARI will manage its U.K. operations from Chippenham, England.
