Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction is rolling out a special promotion to help dealers secure off-rental units for their inventory, a campaign being called the Brasher’s 90 Promo.

Auction management highlighted that with Brasher’s 90, any rental or Brasher’s Gold vehicle purchased will allow the buying dealer to take advantage of at least one of the following benefits.

Dealers can secure a 90-day float for $90, but stores must pre-qualify. Then, dealers can choose one of the following:

—90 percent buy back in 90 days (sale-price only).

—Resell that vehicle within the auction’s lanes in 90 days for a discounted $90 sale fee.

Brasher’s Sacramento elaborated about each of the elements involved in this promotion.

90-Day Buyback

“At any time up to 85 days after the sale, notify us of your intent to bring the car back,” officials explained. “Get the title and the car back to us within 90 days, in the same or better condition, with no more than 90 more miles on it than when you bought it. We will give you a check for 90 percent of the sale price. (Buy Fee, Finance Fees, Transportation Charges, and other expenses not included.)”

90-Day Float for $90

“Get pre-qualified with Barry Larsen before you buy the cars,” the auction noted. “At the day of sale, give us a check for the vehicle (including a $90 float fee and other ordered post-sale services) which we will hold until you sell the vehicle, or until the 90 days is up. At 90 days, or when the car sells, we will deposit the check and send you the title. Should you exercise the 90 percent buyback option, we will deposit your check, and then issue you a check back for 90 percent of the sale price. (Buy Fee, Finance Fees, Transportation Charges, and other expenses not included.) ”

$90 Sale Fee in 90 Days

“If for any reason, you need to wholesale that car within 90 days, give us a call, and we will run the car through the auction and sell it for you, and charge you only $90,” officials said. “Transportation, recon, and other charges still apply. At time of check-in, please communicate clearly to the sales staff that this is a Brasher’s 90 vehicle.”

Management indicated the first round of this promo will extend through this month.
