Carvana is bringing more magic to Orlando.
Well, maybe not magic, per se, but it is bringing additional vehicle reconditioning capacity, more same-day delivery options and about 100 new jobs to its existing ADESA auction in the area.
The online used-car retailer said Tuesday it is adding Inspection and Reconditioning Center capabilities to the ADESA Orlando location in Sanford, Fla.
In addition to greater recon capacity, this will add a new inventory pool for Carvana’s retail network and additional same-day-delivery-eligible vehicles for car buyers in Central Florida.
Not to mention, more options for wholesale buyers locally.
“Bringing IRC capabilities to ADESA Orlando will expand our reconditioning capacity and help us deliver greater selection and faster delivery to customers across Florida,” said Brian Boyd, senior vice president of inventory at Carvana, in a news release.

The company has started hiring local team members for skilled and entry-level jobs in inspection, reconditioning and vehicle fulfillment, and plans to hire about 100 over time.
