DealersLink Rolls Out California Marketplace

The company that founded what it claims to be the first dealer-to-dealer wholesale marketplace announced a major expansion.
DealersLink launched its California marketplace on Tuesday, with more than 100 dealer trading partners in the Golden State now able to tap into unlimited trading with no auction fees, the company says.
“Recognized in the industry for rapid development of new technology, driven by feedback from its dealer members, DealersLink has made significant investments in technology and support staff as the California market scales up,” the company in its statement announcing the expansion.
“DealersLink currently saves its members millions in technology costs by enabling them to consolidate vendors, with its all-in-one solution, and save money on auction fees while gaining access to hard-to-find, clean, front-line units.”
This news comes just a month after DealersLink rolled out its FastBook Mobile App. This offering includes tools for VIN scanning, booking and market valuation of vehicles.
As reported here in Auto Remarketing during October, the company explained that by using FastScan technology, FastBook Mobile scans vehicle VIN barcodes and QR codes from anywhere, including in shadow, through glass, upside-down and in the dark.
FastBook Mobile offers simultaneous comparisons for mobile devices of NADA, Kelly Blue Book, MMR and Black Book values, runs Carfax and AutoCheck reports, compiles competitive retail market pricing data, and displays similar DealersLink vehicles available for sale in a region, company officials said.
