IAA Expands Presence in ‘Key’ Markets

Insurance Auto Auctions revealed Tuesday it is expanding its presence in Virginia and Louisiana — areas the company says are "key U.S. markets."
IAA is opening two new facilities in New Orleans and Culpeper, Va., respectively.
The new stores mark the company's 32nd location in the South Central region, and the 49th location in the Southeast region.
Commenting on the news, Tom O'Brien, chief executive officer of Insurance Auto Auctions, said, "The addition of these new facilities enhances IAA's capacity in two critical and growing markets, including New Orleans and the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
"IAA is committed to expanding its presence in areas across North America where there is a strong customer demand, which means we're offering more locations for providers to sell their vehicles and more cars for global buyers to bid on and win," he said.
The new Virginia facility is located at 15201 Review Road, and "gives IAA the additional capacity necessary to serve the greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan market," the company said.
The New Orleans East facility is located at 6600 Almonaster Blvd.
This location will provide IAA additional acreage to serve the growing region and offer additional capacity in this catastrophe-prone area, officials said.
Details regarding upcoming auctions taking place at these two facilities can be found on the company's branch Information page at www.iaai.com.
