CENTENNIAL, Colo. -

Wholesale industry veteran Tim DeBerry is getting closer to having his lifelong dream of building an auction come to fruition as Mile High Auto Auction is approaching its first sale.

Mile High AA will hold sales every Tuesday at noon beginning on Aug. 6 at its newly renovated facilities at 9750 East Costilla Ave. in Centennial, Colo.

“Mile High Auto Auction was founded to provide dealers with the absolute best service,” DeBerry said.  “My partnership with Loveland Auto Auction owners Scott Read and Bart Barnett is making this happen.

“We have facilities that will house our auction lanes, our full recon, body and mechanical shops, plus indoor parking for 200-plus vehicles — all located off a main access road in south Denver,” DeBerry continued.  “This came together like a perfectly written story. The characters, the setting and the timing could not have been more ideal.”

Barnett described Mile High AA as a “great opportunity.” He added, “A lot of amazing forces have come together to create this auction.  There hasn’t been a sale in south Denver in over 25 years (since George Lamb’s Colorado Auto Auction on South Sante Fe).

“It’s an exciting time. We are proud of the experienced team we are putting together,” Barnett went on to say.

Read elaborated about the relationship between Mile High AA and Loveland AA.

“Our mutual goal is to consolidate not only our experience but our combined resources and relationships,” Read said. “With so many dealers and so much car business in this area, we are very excited to be in the best place at the right time.”

DeBerry added, “When we calculated our combined time in the auction business, we realized we’re bringing over a hundred years of experience to Centennial.”
