In the August TradeTracker Used Vehicle Market Report, the Honda Civic Sedan ousted the Mazda 3 and notched the top spot as the most-appraised vehicle overall. The Mazda 3 came in at No. 2 for the month.
These reports are provided monthly to Auto Remarketing Canada and are a result of Dealertrack Technologies' TradeTracker solution, which is an online, trade-in evaluation tool that allows dealerships to create instant, accurate appraisals and gain insight into their used-car business.
The Ford F-150, Toyota Corolla and Dodge Grand Caravan rounded out the top five most-appraised vehicles in August, respectively.
Year-to-date (as of the end of August), the F-150 has still seen the most appraisals.

The TradeTracker reports also include a Brand of the Month section, which highlights appraisal trends by an individual brand each month.
The brand highlighted in August was Mazda. For Mazda dealers, the top three vehicles looked at by trade-in customers were the CX-5, Mazda 3 and Mazda 6, respectively.
Overall, the top three off-make vehicles appraised by Mazda dealers in August were the Honda Civic Sedan, Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Elantra, respectively.
