LAS VEGAS -

The National Independent Automobile Dealers Association and Cherokee Media Group possess many similar characteristics, with one of the most important attributes being the goal of helping dealerships of all sizes prosper.

It’s also part of the reason why the two organizations closely collaborate during Used Car Week.

“It’s always important anytime an industry can bring together key stakeholders to learn, network and stay ahead of coming changes,” NIADA chief executive officer Steve Jordan said. “Investing in yourself and your business is one of the best ways to improve your returns, both personally and professionally. Used Car Week is a great place to do just that, and NIADA is happy to be a part of it.”

For the fifth year in a row, NIADA has a distinguished place during Used Car Week, which opens on Nov. 11 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas.

“Dealerships are the cornerstone of the entire automotive industry,” UCW chairman Bill Zadeits said. “The enthusiasm and energy Steve Jordan and the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association bring to Used Car Week are invaluable. Ensuring dealerships are involved in each part of Used Car Week is crucial for an industry-leading event, and NIADA support helps us achieve that objective.”

Along with NIADA sharing its perspectives, UCW 2019 also includes additional workshops and presentations designed to help store personnel. It’s all under the umbrella of Dealer Training Tuesday.

Dealer training can be essential to auto retail stores’ success and growth, or both. But it can also be expensive and time consuming, rendering it inaccessible to many dealerships and sales staff. But that changes this fall in Las Vegas Used Car Week is bringing some of the industry’s top dealer trainers together for a day of sharing insight, strategies and tips to bring your dealership forward into 2020.

The best part? Dealers are invited to attend the first block of Used Car Week, including Dealer Training Tuesday, free of charge.
