NORFOLK, Va. -

Amid the various expectations held by consumers today, dealers can now access a new suite of communications tools that are created to help them work more efficiently and improve car owners' service experience.

Dominion Dealer Solutions has introduced an enhanced version of its VUE DMS that is fitted with a selection of newly built-in communications features.

This announcement comes just on the heels of Dominion's July introduction of its new DealActivator-Vision CRM product, which Dominion said can help users create better conversations with prospects.

In addition to a recent beta roll-out of the “new-to-market” VUE DMS to a few multi-store groups, according to Dominion, a timed release of the product to dealers in the U.S. is set to continue into next year.

VUE offers dealers and their customers a single user interface that is powered by UpdatePromise’s communication and payment tools. Along with texting capabilities that can make way for faster approvals and repairs, the newly enhanced DMS is also built with employee messaging capabilities and mobile pay.

“These built-in communications features are a major win for a dealer's CSI by increasing system utilization through ease of use and more clearly defined processes,” Dominion VUE DMS president Van Koppersmith said in a news release. “Service advisers and technicians can, or will, get more done in the DMS than ever before.”

In addition to the ability to send internal messages to one another and set up system-generated alerts, dealership users in a management role can also attach reports, Excel documents and company newsletters to messages.

“Dominion VUE is built with years of DMS experience, using modern tools that I believe will result in a very intuitive, easy-to-use interface for our employees. The automotive business is complicated. We need a simple solution.” said Joe Munson, chief financial officer of Hubler Automotive Group.
