WESTCHESTER, Ill. -

Insurance Auto Auctions announced Tuesday that it has concluded building its 11th Florida branch facility in Pasco County.

This announcement comes just days after IAA announced that it opened a newly relocated Wichita, Kan., branch on Friday.

Located about 45 miles north of Tampa, not only does IAA’s newest Florida branch expand the company’s footprint in the Florida market, but it also builds upon IAA’s catastrophic event response services capabilities, the company said.

“IAA is committed to continuously improving the customer experience. So, we are investing in constructing, expanding and modernizing our facilities to meet their needs,” IAA chief executive officer and president said John Kett said in a news release. “Tampa is one of the fastest growing metro areas in the U.S., and this expansion into the North Tampa market will help us continue to provide superior customer service in an updated auction environment to our Florida customers.”

According to IAA, the new North Tampa branch features a 9,000-square-foot office space, advanced security camera technology and over 40 acres of storage space.

The new branch will host auctions beginning in early September, IAA said.
