America’s Auto Auction has made its 23rd acquisition in the last three years.
The company said it has purchased Victoria Auto Auction in South Texas, bulking up its presence in the Lone Star State.
“Twenty-three acquisitions in three years is a reflection of our commitment to building one of the strongest auction networks in the industry,” America’s Auto Auction CEO Chuck Tapp said in a news release distributed on Monday.
“Victoria Auto Auction represents the type of partner we’ve sought throughout that growth journey: a respected operation with deep customer relationships and a proven track record of service,” Tapp said.
Victoria Auto Auction was founded in 1987 and has been family owned its entire run. The auction will continue to host sales at 11:30 a.m. Thursdays and will be renamed America’s Auto Auction Victoria.
“After 40 years as a family-owned business, I believe the right next step for Victoria Auto Auction is to partner with America’s Auto Auction who I trust and believe in,” owner Kenny Griffin said in a news release. “This decision reflects the hard work and dedication of our family, friends, employees, and loyal customers who helped build this business.

“I especially want to thank my wife and son, Shelly and Kevin, along with Stephen and Brenda, our longest-tenured employees. As we move forward, we look forward to expanding our relationships, and continue to strengthen the Victoria location.”
This mark’s America’s eighth acquisition of 2026. Its most recent purchase was in late June, when it acquired Dealers Auto Auction of the Rockies. America’s also purchased that auction’s siter location, Dealers Auto Auction of Phoenix, earlier this year.
In the news release for the latest acquisition, America’s said, “While America’s Auto Auction’s footprint continues to expand, its strategy remains consistent: partner with well-respected operators, preserve local relationships, and provide customers with the advantages of a larger national network. The addition of Victoria Auto Auction further strengthens America’s Auto Auction’s presence in Texas while reinforcing the momentum behind its continued growth across North America.”
