MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -

Impact Auto Auctions revealed when its new Impact Toronto facility will open as well as when sales will begin.

Officials plan to open the new operation and start to take assignments on Tuesday with sales commencing in mid-November. They indicated auction sale dates will be announced in the near future.

Impact Toronto is located at 535 Wentworth Street in Oshawa, Ontario. The new Impact Toronto location features 37 acres of vehicle storage as well as an office, auction and inspection building consisting of 12,000 square feet.

The company highlighted that this new facility will increase Impact’s GTA storage capacity by 60 percent to 5,500 vehicles. The site also features office and training space for insurance appraisers, plus an enhanced early tow and appraisal (ETA) area.

“All of us at Impact are excited to be wrapping up construction and opening the doors on this fabulous facility,” stated Terry Daniels, Impact’s managing director.

“After years of searching, months of construction, and countless hours of effort by many in our organization, we are thrilled to bring this state-of-the-art auction centre to our Toronto area customers,” Daniels continued.

While new assignments will be directed to the Oshawa location as of Tuesday, Daniels explained auction sales of existing inventory will continue in Stouffville until mid-November.

The company emphasized that Impact’s sales team will contact customers directly in the coming days with a detailed transition plan and tentative auction schedule for both the Oshawa and Stouffville locations.

The company also announced plans to celebrate Impact Stouffville, including the employees and customers who have been instrumental to its success over the past 25 years.

Impact will commemorate its history in Stouffville with a number of promotions and special events beginning in October and running through the final sale in November.
