Manheim Rolls Out myMobileListing App for iPhone & iPad

Manheim has announced the launch of a mobile application that gives dealers the ability to create listings straight from their lots.
Dealers can tap into myMobileListing from their iPhone or iPad device, and use the app to list vehicles in the Manheim marketplace and disclose vehicle condition information.
Through the app, dealers can also post as many as 24 images and five short videos, which the dealer can then “stitch into a virtual walk-around” to better demonstrate the car’s condition.
In celebration of the mobile app’s release, Manheim is giving away a new iPad to one app user who registers during the specified period (Oct. 1 – Nov. 2) .
How It Works
Manheim explained in further detail how myMobileListing — powered by cDemo — is designed to work.
As a seller lists a car, he or she uses the app to punch in the vehicle’s condition information. Upon completion of the listing, a Manheim algorithm — using the information provided by the seller — determines the condition grade of the car. This grade can range from 0.0 to 5.0.
The grade then appears on Manheim.com, OVE.com, Mobile Search Results Pages, Vehicle Detail Pages and the Seller Disclosure platform.
Officials said it takes about five minutes to create a “Basic Listing” in the Manheim marketplace using myMobileListing. It takes between eight and 12 minutes to create a seller disclosure, Manheim estimated.
“As our data depicts, more dealers are utilizing their mobile devices to conduct business,” said Joe George, senior vice president of product development.
“Benefiting our buyers and sellers, the myMobileListing app lets our sellers conveniently disclose the condition of vehicles and visually capture damages with images and videos,” he added. “This gives our buyers the transparency they need to purchase with confidence.”
All dealers can download the myMobileListing app for free, while dealers registered with Manheim can use the app for free.
Step-by-step instructions are provided by the app to help sellers navigate the listing and disclosure process. Also, Manheim’s The Wholesale Institute team is hosting an online workshop on myMobileListing at 10 a.m. (EST) on Oct. 17.
Those interested in registering for and downloading the app can do so at www.manheim.com/mymobilelisting.
Manheim is planning for the app to be available on Android devices this fall.
