TAMPA, Fla. -

When it comes to tackling burdensome operational costs, the updated automotive auction management system from Xcira can help auctions access valuable streamlined, mobile operations at auction sites.

Version 6.5 of Xcira’s Cubed AMS product has been integrated into Xcira’s Cubed Platform with added features such as new mobile interfaces, reports and an accounting module, the company announced Monday.

“Version 6.5 is yet another major release since Xcira acquired Fastlane, and it represents our commitment to the automotive auction industry,” Xcira vice president Bill Cieslak said in a news release. “The Cubed AMS team’s accomplishments are only the start of the industry-changing activities planned for the product.

“I am confident that partnerships with forward-thinking auction houses will yield phenomenal results for all parties.”

Additionally, Xcira also recently announced that Memphis Auto Auction has been operating the Xcira Cubed AMS solution for 90-plus days following a successful installation that took less than 30 days to complete.

“Changing an auction’s operating system is never easy; however, the training and support from Xcira, coupled with the capabilities of the Cubed AMS, made the transition painless,” said Memphis Auto Auction general manager Brandon Derrick. “The mobile capabilities of the Cubed AMS have improved our operational efficiencies and poised us for growth. We are enthusiastic about the platform as well as Xcira’s vision and support.”

Following a six-month process of evaluating technology options that began in the fall of last year, Memphis Auto Auction chose to work with Xcira’s platform in March, according to the company.

“The Xcira team is happy to be working with an outstanding organization like Memphis Auto Auction,” added Cieslak.

“Brandon and his team are true professionals and are instrumental in adding auction operational awareness, as well as dealer and consignor insights that will bring additional value to the Cubed Platform in the future.”
